We were talking about gardens in our reading periods this week, so since today was Friday, I thought it would be fun to show my students this video. It brought tears to my eyes every time since I first saw it, and I think it tugged at the heart-strings of my cooperating teacher when I showed it to her this morning (I guess it was the first time she ever saw it). I teared up a little when all 25 of my littles watched it without saying anything (a very, VERY rare feat for them) and it choked me up when half the class asked to watch it again. I loved today.
